How to size the notch on your display

Sliders in Settings used to fight the Dynamic Island you were looking at. Edit on screen is the only way now. You size the idle notch and the expanded island on the display itself. The red line is on Noggin. Esc when it fits.

Open it

  1. Settings → Notch. Edit on screen is the gold card at the top.
  2. Or Noggin in the menu bar → Edit on Screen…

Notch, then expanded

  1. Notch is the idle Dynamic Island. Drop is how far it sits below the camera. Sides and round follow the camera. Y only moves down, never above the notch.
  2. Idle, Player, Timer, and Ambient preview chips only change what Noggin shows. They do not reset size.
  3. Expanded is home, Canvas, games, and mirror. Nudge X and Y. Y only moves down.
  4. Reset notch sits with the sliders, above Preview. Done, or Esc, leaves edit.

There are no size sliders left in Settings. If the red line is missing, quit Noggin and open the latest app from Applications.
